Practical advice to help students beat personal bests and build subconscious recall.
Anchor Your Typing Fingers
On a computer, keep your fingers lightly resting on the number keys rather than hunting with a single index finger. If you have a separate number pad on the right of your keyboard, use your dominant hand to enter digits effortlessly.
Never Freeze on Tough Questions
If you get stuck on a difficult fact like 7 × 8, don't sit still for 10 seconds. Type a fast educated guess and press Enter! The test doesn't deduct points for wrong answers, and moving forward protects your momentum.
Spot the Turnaround Twins
Multiplication is commutative: 8 × 6 is the exact same number as 6 × 8 (48). If an equation looks intimidating with a big number first, flip it in your mind to the familiar version you already know.
Daily 60-Second Sprints Beat Weekend Cramming
One or two 60-second sprints each morning builds automatic retrieval much faster than an exhausting 30-minute study session once a week. Keep practice fast, light, and always finish on a high note!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything parents and educators need to know about our speed sprint game.
What score should my child or student aim for in 60 seconds? ▼
As a general benchmark for multiplication fluency, answering within 2 to 3 seconds per fact indicates automatic memory retrieval. Scoring 20 to 25+ correct in 60 seconds demonstrates strong proficiency, while 30+ correct shows complete mastery without needing finger counting or slow mental addition.
Why does the game auto-advance without pressing Enter? ▼
Auto-advancing upon typing the correct answer eliminates mechanical friction and keyboard delays, letting children focus purely on rapid mental calculation. If you type an incorrect number, simply press Enter to submit it and move to the next question.
What if my child feels anxious or stressed with countdown timers? ▼
Start by choosing the 120-second endurance mode with only (1–4) tables selected. This builds immediate success and confidence without pressure. You can also turn off the game sounds using the sound icon in the top header.
Can children play on mobile phones and tablets? ▼
Yes! When playing on an iPad, tablet, or smartphone, our built-in on-screen touch number pad appears automatically with large buttons tailored for small fingers.
Does getting an answer wrong deduct points? ▼
No! Wrong answers reset your current streak, but they never reduce your total correct score. This encourages children to guess quickly and stay engaged rather than getting paralyzed by the fear of making a mistake.
